Whether you live in town or out in the country, we have bus services running to help get your kids to and from school each day.

The Transit bus is provided to the school, by the MOE, to assist those living in the country. It does 3 runs each morning and afternoon; out to Mowhanau Village via Kai Iwi Valley Rd, up to Maxwell (Maxwell Station Rd and Rangitatau West Rd as far as Pakaraka Rd) and Rangitatau East Rd to Bushy Park.

Kai Iwi School also owns its own bus to cater for students living in town, who wish to attend a country school. The lovely Mrs Carson is our bus driver and picks up students from various spots around town. There is a small charge to students who use this service to help with the upkeep of running the bus.
